Over the past winter we have been in discussions with the Southeast Pilots and members of the Marine Safety Task to develop REVISED 2015 standard tracklines for cruise ships in Lower Lynn Canal and Stephens Passage. Tracklines were revised for 2013-2014, but this generated safety concerns by the cruise ships due to the close proximity of the north and southbound tracklines in the vicinity of the Boat Harbor Special Harvest Area (SHA). Tracklines for Upper Lynn Canal and Sumner Strait have not been changed but are attached for ready reference.
